Executive Director/Principal Investigator

Hiring Range:  $130K - 175K

 

The National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Grant, funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), is a nationwide consortium to enhance the training and career development of individuals from diverse backgrounds, communities, and cultures who are pursuing biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and social science research careers (collectively termed biomedical research careers), through enhanced networking and mentorship experiences. The primary goal of NRMN is to enhance the participation in the biomedical workforce of individuals from groups identified as nationally underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral, and social sciences research enterprise. The NRMN grant comprises five partnering cores: The Administrative Core (AC) at Boston College, the Mentor Training Core (MTC) at the University of Wisconsin‑Madison, the Mentorship and Networking Core (MNC) at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, the Professional Development Core (PDC) at the University of Minnesota, and the Research Resources and Outreach Core (RROC) at Morehouse School of Medicine.

 

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Research, the Executive Director for the AC will serve as the Boston College Principal Investigator for the NRMN project.
