iBiology and NRMN present a Q&A entitled Negotiating an Academic Position. On Friday May 6th, 2016 iBiology, in partnership with NRMN, hosted a Q&A to talk about navigating the higher ed landscape and negotiating an academic position. The esteemed panel of experts discussed their personal experiences and offered practical advice on negotiating an academic research position. Topics they touched on included the first steps of negotiating, how to secure necessary resources, advocating for tenure track, and determining salary cap and benefits package. Throughout the Q&A panelists took questions from the audience and engaged in a deep discussion on relevant topics.
