Rob Rivers, Ph.D., is a program director at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) and he also serves as the Project Scientist for two of the BUILD initiatives, University of Maryland, Baltimore County STEM BUILD and Morgan State University ASCEND. In this interview, he shares about his professional background and some of his experiences working to increase representation of African-Americans in STEM fields.
