  • Applications Due: Feb. 14Read the funding announcement from the NIH Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE) to support programs providing short courses on how to access, integrate and interpret two or more Common Fund data sets. Programs also include mentoring activities to support career development and retention of course participants as Common Fund data users.
  • Applications Due: Feb. 16Apply now for the Biomedical Engineering Summer Internship Program (BESIP) for Summer 2024. BESIP is an intensive in-person research experience in labs at NIBIB and across The National Institutes of Health located in Bethesda, MD.
  • Applications Due: Feb. 25Submit your application for the Stanford Postdoctoral Recruitment Initiative in Sciences and Medicine (PRISM) Spring 2024 Cohort. PRISM is open to graduate students from all backgrounds and in all fields, applicants from the broad spectrum of identities that are underrepresented in academia are encouraged to apply.
  • Seminar: 12 p.m. ET on Feb. 29Register and join the Black in Neuro Seminar with Dr. Jennifer Manly for a talk, "Lifecourse social and structural determinants of later life cognitive function and dementia risk"
  • Applications Due: Mar. 31Register now for the The University of Houston Obesity Health Disparities (OHD) Program. The OHD Program is designed to train, mentor and sustain early career investigators from backgrounds underrepresented in the biomedical and behavioral sciences to become highly talented, independent investigators in obesity and obesity health disparities research. 
  • Applications Due: Apr. 5Apply now for the 2024 Reimagine Indians into Medicine (RISE) Summer Academy. The 17-day intensive program for American Indian/Alaskan Native students provides in-depth training and Indigenous learning opportunities to prepare scholars for the medical school application process.
  • Registrations Due: Apr. 11 Register now for the first of seven 2024 American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) Regional Conferences will take place April 12-13 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. These conferences help to highlight meetings, programs and events as well as provide information on scholarships, internship opportunities and more.
