- Registrations Due: March 12 — Register now for the NIH COSWD: Scientific Workforce Diversity Seminar Series (SWDSS) event, “How Does Diversity Impact Innovation in Team Science?” with a featured panelist from the DPC: SF BUILD Principal Investigator Tung Nguyen, M.D., (Associate Vice Chancellor for Research - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Racism, University of California, San Francisco). The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET.
- Applications Due: March 31 — Register now for the The University of Houston Obesity Health Disparities (OHD) Program. The OHD Program is designed to train, mentor, and sustain early career investigators from backgrounds underrepresented in the biomedical and behavioral sciences to become highly talented, independent investigators in obesity and obesity health disparities research.
- Registrations Due: April 11 — Register now for the first of seven 2024 American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) Regional Conferences will take place April 12-13 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. registration for April. These conferences help to highlight meetings, programs and events as well as provide information on scholarships, internship opportunities and more.
- Applications Due: April 5 — Apply now for the 2024 Reimagine Indians into Medicine (RISE) Summer Academy. The 17-day intensive program for American Indian/Alaskan Native students provides in-depth training and Indigenous learning opportunities to prepare scholars for the medical school application process.
- Ongoing Opportunities — The Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD) supports the following basic and translational research funding opportunities to increase scientific understanding of cancer as well as reduce cancer health disparities.
