Data Coordination Core

 The Data Coordination Core is responsible for providing state-of-the-art data collection and data management expertise and services to support collection of the data needed to evaluate progress of the NIH Diversity Program in meeting its goals and to allow timely identification of problems or barriers to success in achieving program goals.

Aims

 

  1. Develop effective collaborative partnerships with other CEC cores, BUILD sites, NRMN and NIH program office within the Diversity Program Consortium.
  2. In collaboration with the Administrative and Evaluation Cores, develop and implement systems and training needed to ensure standardized and harmonized data collection procedures across BUILD sites and NRMN.
  3. Provide infrastructure and expert staff to support consortium needs.
  4. As part of a CEC-wide educational initiative, offer training and educational support to BUILD sites and NRMN through written and video materials posted on the CEC website as well as periodic webinars.
