NRMN at ABRCMS 2016 in Tampa Bay

The National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) will have an official presence at the 2016 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Scientists on Nov. 9 - 12.

Attendees will be able to visit NRMN staff at booth #620 of the ABRCMS conference hall where they'll be able to learn more about NRMN's programming, upcoming opportunities and resources, as well as, join NRMN by setting up an account on the NRMNet.net website. 

During the conference, NRMN's Dr. Jamboor Vishwanatha will be hosting an official session entitled, Bringing Mentees and Mentors together in a National Mentoring Network designed to introduce attendees to NRMN.

As a result of this session, participants will be able to:

Dr. Vishwanatha is a Regents Professor and Special Assistant to the Provost for the Center for Diversity and International Programs and Director of the Texas Center for Health Disparities at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He received his Ph.D. in biological sciences from the University of South Carolina in 1983. His research is in cancer molecular biology, experimental therapeutics and nanotechnology.
